[Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had said in 2006, that said plans for minorities, particularly Muslims, must have
the ‘first claim' on resources so that benefits of development reach them equitably. These must have the first claim
on resources," he said in his address at the 52nd meeting of the National Development Council (NDC) in New Delhi. ] The
above Congress policy demonstrates fully the double and triple standard adopted by the ruling party to the utter detriment
of the overwhelming majority of Hindus that constitute what is India and also violates the norms of democracy.
The way the government treats various issues differently, always adopting an anti-Hindu
policy is evident from the following:
1. Sikhs were slaughtered in thousand in 1984 = A Mistake.
2. Hindus
killed in and driven out of Kashmir = Political problem.
3. Muslims killed in a riot they started = Holocaust.
4.
Protestors shot in Communist govt. = Misunderstanding.
5. Talking about Hindus and Hinduism = Communal.
6. Talking
about Muslims and Islam = Secular.
7. Kargil Attack 1999 = Government failure.
8. Chinese invasion in 1962 = Unfortunate
betrayal.
9. Reservations in schools and colleges on caste lines = Secular.
10. Reservations in Minority institutions
= Communal.
11. Encounters in Gujarat [Sohrabuddin] = BJP Communalism.
12. Encounters under Cong-NCP in Maharashtra
[Khwaja Younus] = Police atrocity.
13. Banning Parzania in Gujarat = Communal.
14. Banning Da Vinci Code, Jo Bole
So Nihaal, Salman Rashdi and Taslima Nasreen = Secular.
15. BJP freeing three terrorists to save 100 Indian hostages
= Shameful
16. Congress freeing four terrorists militants to save just one person (daughter of its Minister) in Kashmir
= Political dilemma, Natural Dilemma
17. Attack on Parliament = BJP ineptitude.
18. Not hanging Afzal Guru, the
mastermind, despite Supreme Court orders = Humanity and Political dilemma.
19. BJP questioning Islamic Terrorist Forces
= Communal.
20. Congress questioning Bhagwan Ram's existence = Clerical Error.
What's this if not different standard for themselves and others?
Some of us do not know the cause of the
debacle of Ram Bilas Paswan in Bihar in the last Parliamentary election. He is the same person who used to get elected from
Bihar with the maximum of votes and holds a record. But in last election, he lost his own seat. Why? His statement that the
next Chief Minister of Bihar will be a Muslim had a remarkable impact on the mind-set of his vote bank. He lost all his candidates
with the very simple fact that in the area where Muslim mafia has spread terror people did not vote Ram Vilas Paswan or his
men.
Sachar Commission, mishandling of the Jammu & Kashmir
issue and the Kashmiri refugee problem, domestic terrorism, Tax on Amarnath pilgrimage are some of many issues, the BJP does
not rake up properly. On the contrary, Congress through legal tactics has taken to task the BJP on Sohrabuddin/Ishrat Bi case.
Sooner or
later, the BJP has to play its role to safeguard the interest of its vote bank in various ways.
