Low fuel but mileage OK,
Costs less to maintain,
And proud
to be with,
Says single owner for 49 years.
Engine in
good running condition,
It's real vintage now,
Paint almost original,
Only the top gone bald.
Needs no tune-up, no oil change,
But plenty of water and air,
Speed a
little slowed down,
And huffs and puffs sometime.
Horn
sounds great most of the time,.
Sometimes goes off on its own,
Headlights seldom complain,
Gears too in normal
condition.
Model is old but accidents are rare,
Never killed
any, nor hurt anyone,
Silencer works only when tired,
Otherwise reliable indeed.
Moody sometimes, excitable often,
Has traveled far and wide,
Seen better part of the world,
Only once
ran out of fuel.
Made friends, helped even strangers,
Still
wants more, for fun and games,
Starts at a short notice,
Ready to go anywhere, if needed.
Body little battered, but rarely goes
For repairs, spirits always very high,
Really like cat's, has lives
